EXPLANATION:
The man's position; it is an image I saw to paint. I had to look it up. Moreover, I found in a book of Wong Kiew Kit, and it's a kung fu posture, that is called "White snake crosses valley". This posture transfers the energy to one hand to the other. The most interesting fact is that the snake since the times of the Greeks symbolizes “Healing”. Until this day, the Doctors use it as a symbol. The white symbolizes new beginnings and the end of a cycle. And it means wholeness, completion. The black and white in the painting mean… White; "energy of completion". And the black: energy of gestation of preparation. When one is desperate, we see black as fear, unknown, and uncertainty. However, when one changes the black means “restful emptiness" that allows many opportunities to emerge or disappear.
The message that appears in the black says: When you learn how to balance the rock and the feather, then you will find your balance. The answer lies within you. The answer: The rock and the feathers are the same…”
The blue that comes out from its mouth means the transmission of the message of peace. The colors that show on the side where is white: the green and the red; means that he is in a moment of rebirth, but he needs action. The triangles might relate to the chakras the one near the heart, the heart chakra related to love and relationships. And the blue triangle the solar plexus chakra related to the personal energy. Here the energy comes from the outside, the energy of the universe. Here are shown here because these 2 chakras are important for his rediscovery and finding his balance. The name of the painting is called: “The rock and the feather.”
